Paris Hilton Arrested in South Africa

The World Cup Soccer here in South Africa has not had any weird moments until this one. As you all know Paris Hilton was arrested for the possession of Marijuana at the FIFA World cup quarter final match between the Netherlands and Brazil. Although she was later let go as they had discovered that a friend of hers was the one under this spotlight.

During the court appearance Hilton’s co-accused, Jennifer Rovero, “acknowledged to be in possession of cannabis, and pleaded guilty”, a police spokesperson revealed. The 31-year-old Rovero was sentenced to 30 days imprisonment or a fine of R1000.

Wow, and why would these girls come all the way to get caught smoking weed? We as South Africans will never forget this.
