Mbhazima Shilowa, the deputy president of the Congress of the People {COPE} has vouched that President Jacob Zuma Resign from his position, as his impact and behavior has been nothing but negative since he began office as President. Most recent of the occurrences has been the sage between him fathering a baby out of wed lock with Irvin Khoza’s Daughter. Do you think this is fair upon the president to be removed off his post for these occurrences?

FNB to Roll out Paypal

First National Bank (FNB) executives are expected to convene a fiery meeting on Monday morning following leaks on messaging system, Twitter, that it was bringing Paypal to South Africa by April.Twitter was abuzz with speculation on Sunday that PayPal would finally be gracing South Africa’s shores later this year.PayPal is a service aimed at facilitating secure online trade and is viewed as a vital step in seeing South African web offerings become a bigger part of the global economy. 8 Children injured in a Minibus Accident

Eight school children were injured when a minibus taxi collided with a bakkie in Pietermaritzburg on Monday morning, KwaZulu-Natal paramedics said.

“Eight school children were injured, three seriously when the minibus taxi carrying them to school collided with a bakkie in the intersection of Boom and Boshoff streets this morning [Monday],” said Net care 911’s Jeff Wicks.

He said the impact of the collision caused the children to hit the seats in front of them.

They were treated and stabilized by paramedics at the scene before being transported to hospital.

Nedbank Owing R1.3Billion?

 Reports have come in regarding a lawsuit filed against Nedbank  by Shareholders of property developer Pinnacle Point.

Claims allege that Nedbank and Jac De Beer, through broker Cortex Securities, worked together to force up the share price of Acc-Ross Holdings, a company that Pinnacle Point acquired in November 2008 – Sunday Times Reported. Read the rest of this entry »

Jacob Zuma Apologises

President Jacob Zuma on Saturday said he “deeply regretted” the pain he caused his family, the ANC and South Africans after revelations that he fathered a child out of wedlock.

“I deeply regret the pain that I have caused to my family, the ANC, the (tripartite) alliance and South Africans in general,” Zuma said in a statement. Read the rest of this entry »

After having joined the Giant Company in April 2009 problems have arised from all sides. IDC spends R700m on BEE

Last year the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) spent about R700m on redeeming the bank debts of BEE companies in the mining industry.

On Wednesday Ufikile Khumalo, head of the IDC’s resources division, told the Mining Indaba that between R600m and R700m had been used for four big BEE deals whose loans had been called in by banks. Read the rest of this entry »

Cope Questions Nyanda’s Businesses

The party alleged his business interests were in conflict with Section 96 of the Constitution and Section 2 of the Executive Members’ Ethics Act.
